Clinical psychologist, integrated mind-body approach
Method
Theoretical foundations and psychophysiological regulation
The approach integrates evidence-based tools from clinical psychology, integrating principles from cognitive psychology, neuropsychology, models of emotional regulation, positive psychology, and perspectives from health psychology, which highlight the bidirectional interconnection between psychological processes, the nervous system, and physiological responses to stress. The work also uses mind-body awareness strategies, inspired by mindfulness introduced by Jon Kabat-Zinn and further developed by contemporary neuroscience. The method is enriched with theoretical references from Eastern medical traditions, such as Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), used as complementary frameworks to understand mind-body self-regulation processes and the relationship between emotions, physiology, and behavior.
Working on balance: what I mean
In my work, I view the individual as a system in which mind, emotions, and body are closely interconnected. This approach allows me to identify what, in each person, can be supported and reorganized to foster greater internal stability and a more balanced relationship with oneself. For me, working on balance doesn't mean eliminating difficulties, but rather building, over time, a more solid and lasting internal functioning, capable of supporting the individual through the different stages of life.

Goals
→ promote emotional clarity and body awareness
→ improve emotional regulation and stress tolerance
→ strengthen motivation and self-efficacy
→ identify and modify dysfunctional thoughts and behaviors
→ promote a more balanced relationship with the body and with food
→ improve overall well-being
The work focuses on enhancing the processes of understanding internal, emotional, and bodily experience, as a basis for achieving psychophysiological balance.
Integrated approach & medical collaboration
My work is part of a multidisciplinary framework that brings together clinical psychology, integrative medicine, and functional medicine, sharing a vision of health as a dynamic balance between mind, emotions, and body. Collaboration with medical professionals allows for the development of coherent and coordinated approaches, where psychological interventions complement functional medicine, while respecting their specific professional expertise.
This approach promotes personalized care aimed at improving, stabilizing, and preventing overall well-being in the medium and long term.
